Live in Nottinghamshire and want to do the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, but are unable to do it at school or college?
The Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) can be done by absolutely anyone aged 13-24. Any gender, whether able-bodied or not and regardless of religion or background the award is for you.
We fully support the DofE ethos and go the extra mile to enable the participation of young people in the award with experienced, not to mention enthusiastic staff who are there to support you and your team every step of the way.
The award is a structured programme of activities for you to enjoy in your spare time. There are three Award levels to conquer; Bronze, Silver and Gold. Gold, understandably, takes the longest time to complete and is the hardest level - people usually start off on the Bronze award and work their way up.
We have three Access Centres where you can register to take part in the DofE award, these are located around the county.
Sessions are generally run one evening in the week and training walks/ expeditions run during the weekends or school holidays.
Sign up with Notts Outdoors and challenge yourself to go that extra mile. Drop the team an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01623 556 110.
