School support packages

We are proud to work with schools throughout the county to deliver a quality and well-regarded service that fulfils the DofE training framework.

As an Expedition Approved Activity Provider, our Mill Adventure Base delivers expedition packages with our highly qualified and experienced outdoor staff organising and delivering the whole of the expedition section of the DofE Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.

Expedition locations can include Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Peak District, Wales, the Lake District and Scotland. Expeditions can be by foot, canoe or by bike.

Hagg Farm

Our Hagg Farm Centre offers camping for Gold Duke of Edinburgh training, practice and final expedition groups only.

  • all groups must notify their operating authority of their route and have registered with the Peak Expedition Panel as necessary
  • supervisors must hold the appropriate qualification/meet the requirements of the operating authority
  • the responsibility for the safe conduct of the expedition and the group's use of Hagg Farm campsite lies with the named supervisor of the expedition
  • the maximum numbers of campers is 20. Please note if there is more than 10 in a single group then a supervisor must also stay on site.
