About Us

Support for Schools

Notts Outdoors provides outdoor learning opportunities for young people in Nottinghamshire and beyond.

We work with schools, colleges, youth groups, employers to enhance the lives of young people. We aim to teach confidence, awaken adventure and immerse students in what the great outdoors and nature have to teach us.

This year  28,000 young people accessed a service through Notts Outdoors. We welcomed schools, youth groups, and families from within Nottinghamshire and the surrounding counties.                                                                                2022

We have eight centres across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, all offering something different and unique. Our two residential centres, St Micheals and Hagg Farm, are located in the outstanding natural beauty of the Peak District National Park. In Nottinghamshire, we have a wilderness experience camp - Camp Redwood located near Clumber Park, and five environmental education day centres, Perlethorpe, Brackenhurst, Sherwood, Rushcliffe and the Mill Adventure Base.

Notts Outdoors promises to offer accessible and affordable opportunities for young people, whilst creating an environment that makes learning fun and inclusive for all. All of our centres are staffed by qualified and experienced specialists, and are operated to rigorous health and safety standards. So rest assured you're with the experts...

Did you know that we can tailor a package to suit you and your class? Whatever your needs and requirements we're happy to build bespoke packages, whether day visits or residential, so the day is unique to you!
