With 650 acres of diverse landscapes, wildlife, and industrial heritage including the famous Bestwood Winding Engine House, this site offers a fantastic setting for a wide range of hands-on learning experiences. From orienteering to traditional tales your students will have an unforgettable time exploring nature.
A unique feature of Bestwood Environmental Education Centre is its focus on Roman history and the Stone Age, providing engaging opportunities for students to develop their understanding of British history. Through immersive, hands-on activities, your class will step back in time, and gain a deeper appreciation of historical changes.
